A person in an organization must first exist, then a principal user account can be created on the platform for that specific person. A principal user can have user accounts in multiple repositories in various roles (capacities) 

The user profile from the perspective of the platform which has direct access to self maintaining views like My In-Tray, My User, My Activity and Chat which all directly apply to them in the scope of the platform reached in the left navigation bar. If the user has a principal role of repository manager they will also automatically have access to the organization dashboard for administration.
