A user can have multiple in-trays being one for every repository they have access to. When the user logs into the repository web portal those collective in-trays can be accessed from the in-tray link in the main left navigation bar
Tasks are the general definition of work to be done and typically refer to the process that they are meant to be assigning work for namely the : Preliminary, Rational or Visual processes of the platform solutions methodology
Notes are the specific instructions of work to be done and typically refer to the task item breakdown into units of work that can be attended to and be individually managed and monitored for progress
